Thing #15

I've always been pretty hesitant about wikis. I think it is a pretty big clue that teachers do not consider it a valuable resource anymore because the "facts" may not be so. On the other hand, I do see the beneficial parts of it and that for educational purposes, wikis would be nice if a group of students were doing a group project or something. It is an easy way to collaborate ideas with other people and learn about strategies you may not have thought of on your own but it just seems too simple. I did like that the TeacherLibrarian wiki did ask you to send a request to an email address if you wanted to add changes and the changes were an improvement; I do support that because there is still some type of control.
